Our client is a leading supplier of innovative products in the automotive sector that are looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join the team.
As Logistics Administrator you will provide support to the Operations and Logistic Manager/Office Manager, This will include liaising with the sales groups and working with international customers along with;
- Coordinating the export process from start to finish
- Booking with Freight Forwarders, organising documentation and tracking progress
- Handling pricing/quotes
- Approving orders and arranging shipments
- Providing cover for the Operations and Logistic Manager/Office Manager
- General administration
- Administrative support activities for the Sales team
- Stock Control
- Use of in-house systems
The Successful Candidate:
To be the Logistics Administrator it is essential that you can work as part of a team as well as individually, you must have excellent communication skills relaying information between numerous internal departments and vital information with suppliers/customers.
Export experience is essential for consideration, export experience to the Middle East is advantageous.
You have to have a pro-active approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude, we are looking for someone that can hit the ground running and become a vital member of the team. Therefore you must have excellent organisational skills, priortising work under pressure.
